Security & customs
Thailand grants visa-exempt entry to many nationalities; have proof of onward travel ready. Immigration queues can be very long on arrival — consider the (paid) fast-track service. Standard 100ml liquid rules apply at security, and there are strict limits on cigarettes and alcohol brought into Thailand, so don't exceed duty-free allowances.
