Overview

Corfu International Airport, named after Ioannis Kapodistrias, is the gateway to the Ionian island of Corfu. It is one of Greece's busiest seasonal airports, swelling with charter and low-cost flights in summer. Its short runway beside the lagoon makes for scenic landings.

Public buses and taxis reach Corfu Town in about 10–15 minutes given the airport's proximity.
