Overview

Luxembourg Findel Airport is the country's only international airport and the home base of flag carrier Luxair as well as a major cargo hub for Cargolux. Though compact, it handles several million passengers a year with connections across Europe and beyond. It is the primary gateway to the Grand Duchy.

Transport to city center

Frequent public buses (lines 16 and 29) run from the airport to the city center in about 20 minutes and are free, as is all public transport in Luxembourg; taxis are also available.

Wi-Fi

Free unlimited Wi-Fi is available throughout the terminal.

Lounges

The Luxair 'The Loft' lounge offers comfortable seating, refreshments, and workspaces airside.

Security & customs

As Luxembourg is in the Schengen Area, there are no passport checks on flights to and from other Schengen countries; allow extra time for non-Schengen arrivals.

Travel tips

Since all public transport in Luxembourg is free, take the bus rather than a taxi to save money. The airport is small, so security lines are usually quick.
