Overview

Lyon–Saint-Exupéry Airport is the main airport serving Lyon and the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. It is one of France's busiest airports outside Paris, with strong European connectivity and seasonal links to the Alps. It serves both full-service and low-cost carriers.

Transport to city center

The Rhônexpress tram links the airport to Lyon Part-Dieu station in about 30 minutes, and the on-site TGV station offers direct trains to other French cities.

Wi-Fi

Free WiFi is available throughout the terminals.

Lounges

Lounges are available airside for premium passengers and cardholders.

Security & customs

EU/EEA passport holders and eligible ePassport visitors can use the automated PARAFE eGates. France is in Schengen, so intra-Schengen flights skip passport control; standard EU 100ml liquid rules apply.

Travel tips

The Rhônexpress is the quickest route into Lyon, though it costs more than a regular bus. The TGV station makes onward rail travel to Paris and the south very convenient.
