Overview

Malta International Airport is the only airport serving the Maltese islands and the gateway to the capital, Valletta. It is the base for Air Malta's successor and a hub for numerous low-cost carriers. The airport handles several million passengers annually.

Transport to city center

Public buses and the X4 express reach Valletta in about 30 minutes, and taxis make the trip in roughly 20 minutes.
