Overview
Naples International Airport (Capodichino) is the main airport for southern Italy's Campania region. It is a busy gateway for both full-service and low-cost carriers, especially in the tourist season for the Amalfi Coast and Pompeii. It is one of the busiest airports in southern Italy.
Transport to city center
The Alibus shuttle connects the airport to the central station (Napoli Centrale) and the port in around 20–30 minutes, and taxis offer fixed fares to the city and port.
Wi-Fi
Free WiFi is available throughout the terminal.
Lounges
A small selection of lounges is available airside for premium and pay-in passengers.
Security & customs
EU/EEA passport holders can use eGates where available. Italy is in Schengen, so intra-Schengen flights skip passport control; standard EU 100ml liquid rules apply at security.
Travel tips
Use the Alibus or official fixed-fare taxis and confirm the price before departing. The airport is close to the city, so transfers are quick but traffic can be heavy.
