Overview

Cork Airport is the second-busiest airport in the Republic of Ireland and the main gateway to the south of the country. It serves UK, European and selected leisure destinations through full-service and low-cost carriers. It is the principal airport for the Munster region.

Transport to city center

Bus Éireann route 226 connects the airport to Cork city center and rail station in about 30 minutes, with taxis being faster.

Security & customs

Ireland is not in the Schengen Area, so passport checks apply on European flights; US preclearance is not available here.
