Overview

Rhodes International Airport, named Diagoras, is the main airport of the Dodecanese islands and one of the busiest in Greece. It handles a heavy flow of summer tourists with extensive charter and low-cost service from across Europe. Winter traffic is far lighter.

Transport to city center

Public buses and shuttles reach Rhodes Town in about 30 minutes, and taxis make the trip in roughly 20 minutes.

Wi-Fi

Free Wi-Fi is available in the terminal.

Lounges

A Goldair Handling lounge offers refreshments and seating airside.

Security & customs

Greece is in the Schengen Area, so intra-Schengen flights skip passport control; allow time for non-Schengen routes.

Travel tips

Arrive early in summer when the airport is extremely busy. Pre-book transfers or rental cars for island travel.
