Overview

Tirana International Airport Nënë Tereza, named after Mother Teresa, is the only international airport in Albania and the country's main gateway. It serves a growing network of European destinations with full-service and low-cost carriers. It handles the majority of Albania's air traffic.

Transport to city center

Tirana city center is about 17 km away; an airport bus connects to the city in around 30–40 minutes, with taxis also available.
