Transport to city center
City Airport Train (CAT) direct to Wien Mitte (16 min, €14.90 one-way or €24.90 return — allows city check-in). S-Bahn S7 commuter rail (25 min, €4.20, included in city zone tickets). Bus to various city hotels. Taxi: €35–45, 20–30 min. The CAT is the premium express option; S7 is the bargain.

Travel tips
The City Airport Train allows city check-in from Wien Mitte from 5:30am — excellent for luggage-free last mornings. Vienna airport is consistently clean and punctual. Duty-free wine and Mozartkugeln chocolates are good airport purchases.
