Overview

Beirut–Rafic Hariri International Airport is the only commercial airport in Lebanon and the hub for Middle East Airlines. It is the country's main gateway, connecting Beirut with Europe, the Gulf and Africa.

A single large terminal is divided into departure and arrival halls handling all traffic.

Transport to city center

Taxis and pre-booked car services are the main option to central Beirut, as there is no rail link.

Lounges

Middle East Airlines and pay-per-use lounges operate in the terminal.

Travel tips

Agree on taxi fares before departing or use a hotel transfer, and allow time for road conditions into the city.
