Dubrovnik Airport (DBV)

Dubrovnik, Croatia

Overview

Dubrovnik Airport is one of Europe's most scenically located airports, nestled between the Adriatic and Dalmatian mountains in Čilipi, 20km from the Old Town. A seasonal airport handling 2–3 million passengers (mostly May–October), with minimal facilities but breathtaking approach views.

Terminals

Single compact terminal with recently expanded arrivals and departures halls. Peak season (July–August) can see queues — arrive early. Limited dining and shopping options.

Transport to city center

Atlas bus directly to the Old Town bus station (40 min, EUR 5). Taxi or Bolt: EUR 25–40, 25–35 min. Car hire available at the terminal. No city bus service from the airport.

Lounges

No traditional lounges. Croatia Airlines has a small departure lounge. The airport has limited food and beverage options outside of peak hours.

Travel tips

Book your transfer or car hire before arrival in peak season — taxis and buses can be overwhelmed. If driving, note that parking in Dubrovnik Old Town area is extremely limited and expensive. The bus into town is excellent value and goes directly to the Old Town entrance.
