Overview

Geneva Airport is the second-busiest airport in Switzerland and a major gateway to the Lake Geneva region and the French Alps. It serves an extensive network of European and intercontinental destinations through full-service and low-cost carriers. It is especially busy during the winter ski season.

The airport has a main terminal and straddles the Swiss-French border, with separate Swiss and French sectors for arrivals.

Transport to city center

A railway station beneath the airport offers frequent trains to Geneva's main station in about 7 minutes, with buses and trams also available.
