Overview
Kaohsiung International Airport is the main airport for southern Taiwan and the country's second-busiest international gateway. It serves domestic routes and a strong network of flights to Japan, Korea, Hong Kong and Southeast Asia.
Terminals
The airport has separate domestic and international terminals connected by a walkway and the metro station.
Transport to city center
The Kaohsiung MRT Red Line connects the airport directly to the city center in around 15 minutes, and taxis are readily available.
Lounges
Airline and pay-per-use lounges operate in the international terminal.
Travel tips
Take the MRT for the fastest and cheapest ride downtown, and tap in with an EasyCard for convenience.
