Travel tips

Don't confuse KLIA and KLIA2 — they're separate terminals 4km apart. KLIA Ekspres is the best way into the city.

Security and arrival

Many nationalities enter visa-free; all arrivals should complete the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) online before travel. Eligible travelers can use the autogate facility. Standard 100ml liquid rules apply at security; note the main terminal and klia2 are separate buildings connected by train, so confirm which you depart from.
