Pulkovo Airport is the main airport serving Saint Petersburg and one of the busiest in Russia. It is a major hub for domestic flights and connects to numerous international destinations. The airport handles tens of millions of passengers annually.

Operations are centered on the modern Terminal 1, which combines domestic and international flights in one large building after older terminals were consolidated.

Transport to city center

The city center is about 23 km away; bus and marshrutka services connect to Moskovskaya metro station, from where the metro reaches downtown, and taxis are widely available.
