Overview

Skopje International Airport is the largest and busiest airport in North Macedonia and the country's principal gateway. It serves European and regional destinations through a mix of low-cost and full-service carriers. The airport was rebuilt and modernized in recent years.

A single contemporary terminal handles all passenger traffic with combined check-in, security and boarding areas.

Transport to city center

A scheduled Vardar Express bus runs to central Skopje in about 35 minutes, while taxis with fixed fares take around 25 minutes.

A business lounge is available in the departures hall.

Travel tips

Use official taxis with set airport fares and carry some Macedonian denars, as not all services accept cards.
