Security and arrival

Australia enforces very strict biosecurity — declare all food, plant, and wooden items or risk fines; complete the Incoming Passenger Card honestly. SmartGate eGates are open to ePassport holders from eligible countries aged 16+ (10+ from some). Standard 100ml liquid rules apply at security, and the domestic and international terminals are separate, requiring a train or bus transfer.
