Pakistan is one of the most affordable travel destinations in Asia, with very low costs for food, local transport, and budget accommodation, making it excellent value for budget travelers. Mid-range and luxury options are available in major cities like Lahore, Karachi, and Islamabad but remain inexpensive by international standards. Note that alcohol is largely unavailable due to Islamic law, which significantly reduces a common travel expense.
