Paraguay is one of South America's most affordable destinations for travelers, with very low costs for food, drink, and local transport. Asunción offers reasonable accommodation options across all budgets, and street food and local markets make eating cheaply very easy. The main cost drivers for international travelers tend to be flights into the country and any guided tours or excursions.
