Overview
Slovakia is one of the more affordable destinations in Central Europe, with costs noticeably lower than neighboring Austria or even the Czech Republic. Bratislava is the priciest city, but even there daily expenses remain very manageable compared to Western European capitals. Accommodation and food are the main cost drivers, while public transport and beer remain remarkably cheap.
