Overview

Transport to city center

A dedicated rail station connects the airport to Manchester Piccadilly in about 15–20 minutes, with trams, buses, and taxis also available.

Security & customs

ePassport holders from eligible countries can use the automated eGates. The UK is outside the EU, so standard customs allowances apply; the 100ml liquid rule is being eased at upgraded scanners but check before you travel.

Check your terminal carefully and allow time to walk between them via The Station concourse. Pre-book security fast track and parking during busy periods.
