Overview

Paphos International Airport is the second-largest airport in Cyprus and the main gateway to the island's western resorts. It is heavily used by European low-cost carriers and seasonal holiday flights. Traffic peaks sharply during the summer tourist season.

Transport to city center

Paphos town is about 15 km away; airport buses run to Paphos and Limassol, while taxis and pre-booked transfers are widely available.

Wi-Fi

Free WiFi is available throughout the terminal.

Lounges

An Aspire lounge is available airside for premium and pay-in passengers.

Security & customs

Cyprus is in the EU but not the Schengen Area, so passport checks apply on all flights. EU/EEA passport holders can use eGates; standard EU 100ml liquid rules apply at security.

Travel tips

Renting a car is popular here as resorts are spread out; remember Cyprus drives on the left. Book transfers in advance during peak summer when demand is high.
